SYNOPSIS

He's so witty that he's made up of wheat!
Witty Bro is an imported German Hefeweizen, it is a cloudy and refreshing wheat beer that boasts a great taste.

The brand itself is an extension of the "BRO" brand and is centered around German wit, puns and the banter amongst its bros. Witty Bro caters to the audience who seek an imported brand experience at an affordable price.  

 

It adopts a very playful and youthful design language combined with colors like teal and yellow to attract the consumer who is young and experimental.

During my tenure of working on the brand, I created the design for the surrogate branding, marketing and promotional elements, campaigns and digital marketing collaterals.

THE BRAND IDENTITY

Witty Bro has a very attractive brand identity with its uniquely hand-lettered type in combination with the BRO brand logo. The curved letters give it a fun and approachable vibe, with the wreath illustration providing it with a second layer of emphasis. The wreath plays a major role in the marketing logo making it look like a complete unit.
Additionally, the colors of the brand teal, yellow and white are very energetic and attention-grabbing making the brand stand out amongst its competitors. The brand tagline which was used in all marketing creatives was "WhySoWittyBro".

MARKETING COLLATERALS

The marketing collaterals of the brand are the first means of reaching out to the consumer. The brand required key marketing images, coasters, openers, cartons, T-shirts, outlet posters, glasses and more with a variety of designs and color applications to make them more appealing. 

THE YELLOW BOTTLE

The iconic Witty Bro yellow bottle which I created became a major tool for consumer connect in all areas of marketing with its attractive colors and form.

SOCIAL MEDIA DESIGN

Social Media played a pertinent role in connecting to the youthful, experimental, and fun-loving consumer

with its aforementioned bro banter, puns, distinct yellow bottle and 3D art style which I introduced in the pipeline of work.

THE SURROGATE

Witty Bro Witz is a surrogate for the beer brand, the logo is a derivative of the original hand-lettered logo with the addition of the word "Witz" in a more casual and fun cursive hand-lettering. The weight and scale of the word "Witz" has been kept slightly higher to attract more attention.

The surrogate came about as an endeavor to bring together the stalwarts and bigwigs of the comedy circle and create the best laughter experience.

Whilst working on the brand I designed multiple lit units, posters, banners, photo booths and many other marketing collaterals.
